A Book on “Hijab in Islamic Culture” finally Published:

The Book entitled by the name of “Hijab in Islamic Culture” finally got published by the President Office of the Center for Women and Family Affairs. This book has been writer by Seyyed Hamid Mir Khandan. This book contains approximately 184 pages with investigations as to why women should wear a Hajib. More than 3000 copies of this  book have been published up till now.

The importance of this book is in respect to the cultural point as to why women should cover their head and what’s the influence a Hijab can have on the society at large. The reference for performing these good deeds comes form these verses of the Holy Quran from the (Surah Ar Rad. 11) that “For every individual there are angels in succession, before and behind him.  They guard him with the command of Allah. Verily Allah would never change the condition of the people until or unless they change it themselves. But when Allah willeth punishment with on a person, there can be no turning back on it while nor they will find any one besides him to protect them”. Here is a hadith of Holy Prophet (PBUH) narrated by Abu Huraira signifying and and supporting the talk of doing good deeds. According to Abu Huraira quotes, Allah Almighty apostle prophet (PBUH) said “The deeds of anyone of you will not save you form the fire of the hell” The prophets preachers replied “Even you o Allah’s Apostle will not be saved by your deeds?” The prophet (PBUH) replied “No even I will not be saved until of unless Allah bestows his mercy upon me. Therefore what is required is to do good deeds sincerely along with worshipping Allah almighty in the parts of afternoon and forenoon in a regular course whereby you will be able to reach the target (Heavens and the Paradise)”. From all of these references quoted one can easily understand the importance of being good and kind to others while also remembering Allah Almighty by praying to him and asking for forgiveness so he can finally win the reward of the Heavens on the Day of Judgment.

France: 30,000 Pilgrims to perform Hajj

According to a news report of 9^th November 2010, the past Tuesday the French Authorities agreed to assist around 30,000 Muslims Pilgrims. These Pilgrims will be performing Hajj this year between the dates of 7^th November 2010 to 6^th December 2010. Different Actors along with the ministers from the ministries of France have been working to arrange the sponsors to facilitate for this campaign.

According to an estimate the French Authorities stated around 30,000 Muslims would be performing Hajj this year. The point in this statement made by the French authorities that needs to be noted that this figure doesn’t include the transit passengers belonging from other parts of the Muslim world like Algeria, Morocco etc. the government of French also opened its consular office in Mecca to assist and provide help to all the French Muslims regarding the problem and queries they face while performing the holy prayer of Hajj this year.

Baghdad: Terrorist Attack on Church Condemned

Baghdad, a criminal act against a church got reported killing 54 people including the priest along with several being injured. This act was strongly condemned by the Christian denomination in Damascus. Every One knows that Dr Aafia is innocent and have been tricked in to all this issue of terrorism after when she refused to leak the antidote for Phosphorous burns. One wonders what can e done to stop such acts like these and saving Dr Aafia from the hands of evil. One way is to raise our voice as a nation and stand up to America by boycotting its products and closing its embassies in the respective Muslim countries so that a clear message can be sent to America that justice should be given to Dr Aafia and should be allowed to go back to her home Pakistan.
